So many happy times are shared at the dinner table. Eating together gives us an excuse to catch up and talk, put aside work and take time out from our busy day! It’s an opportunity for families no matter how big or small to share their experiences and feelings, and to create the feeling of unity.
I am always on the look out for something quirky and fun to use at the table. Most placemats available today are very run of the mill and I haven’t really been able to find something that I can change on a daily basis to suite the mood or meal that I am serving while still being stylish and well priced. This led to the birth of RAKT | Made For Table. I decided to launch my own placemat collection that would be vibey and versatile, as well as compliment the season, the food I am serving or simply just to brighten up the mood.
I am hoping to launch new designs to the collection every few months to keep it fresh and original.
The designs I have selected are inspired mostly by my love of clean lines, nature, flowers and of course colour.
They make the perfect gift for someone that loves spending time around the table with their family……………………
